That was fast! Just yesterday, it was confirmed that Donald Trump’s name would be removed from three Upper West Side buildings, and look, it’s already been done!
This morning, the signs were taken off the buildings at 140, 160 and 180 Riverside Boulevard. The change comes after a petition with hundreds of signatures was circulated by the buildings’ residents. Trump actually hasn’t owned the apartments in years, so it made sense to get rid of the signs, especially after the president-elect protests were made. Bystanders in the street were even cheering as the gold letters came down.
