The New York summer concerts season doesn't begin in earnest till mid-May, but the show announcements are streaming in at a furious pace. Most of the current news concerns gratis gigs, whether it's Jay Z playing a free "B-sides" concert that doubles as plug for his new streaming service, Tidal, or BRIC unveiling its blockbuster full 2015 Celebrate Brooklyn! season lineup. But it's still business as usual at the clubs. Read on for all the latest show announcements, including a big Terminal 5 date from witty and incisive Aussie singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett, a three-night stand from art-pop visionary Panda Bear and a lavish 25th-anniversary show by Swedish metal masters Opeth.
