Would you go to an exhibit showcasing a woman’s undies? (Wait, don’t answer that.) Well, if you’re interested from a creative standpoint, Czech artist Paulina Skavová's drawers are currently on display at the Czech Center of New York (321 E 73rd St.)—but don’t expect to see scanty lingerie. This is badass, feminist art, people!
The new exhibit, comprising 14 feather-covered bras and panties, were handcrafted and meticulously designed using fur and feathers from actual animals, which Skavová's hubbie hunted in the Czech Republic. How primitive.
DNAinfo reports that the artwork acts as a symbol of power women hold in their sexuality—a weapon which is generally concealed. Go check ‘em out. And entry is free, so you have no excuse! But in case you’re too curious to wait, here’s a sneak peak of what you’ll see.
