We’re not afraid to brave the cold for our favorite alfresco holiday markets, but Greenpointers.com is giving us a good reason to shop indoors this weekend: palm trees, hula skirts and mojitos!
RECOMMENDED: Christmas in NYC guide
Join the Brooklyn blog during it’s tropical-themed market to hunt for giftables, partake in some fun (and free!) activities and enjoy food, booze and live music. It’s like being on holiday!
Savor a glass of mulled wine by Crimson and Clove spices and Palinkerie or stick with the island theme and down a mojito made with Sailor Jerry Rum. There will also be winter craft beers provided by Greenpoint Beer & Ale.
Besides perusing all the handmade and local merchandise, make sure to stop by the henna tattoo station, deck out your digits at the nail bar, pose for a bazillion photos in front of a mural created by artist Colleen Blackard and get a gratis massage when you go. Seriously, who says holiday shopping has to be stressful?
It all goes down at Greenpoint Loft at 1pm on Sunday, December 11. Have a blast, ya filthy animals!
