Break out an Iced Toddy and maybe think twice about taking that holiday muff out of the closet, because it’s increasingly looking like this freakish warm weather is going to continue through Christmas. (#MoveChristmas) In fact, if the current warm weather holds up, this could be the warmest Christmas Day of our lifetimes.

There will be a brief cool down on the East Coast over the weekend with unseasonably warm temperatures returning for Christmas week. As there's still some time, forecasts could change. But right now the central and eastern United States are both expected to have above average temperatures on Christmas Eve and Christmas.

In New York, those temperatures could be as high as 66 degrees on Thursday and 60 degrees on Friday. So if you haven't bought a Christmas tree yet, you might want to consider it. You could probably use it for the shade.
