If you love all things mystical and want to party—Addams family-style—you don’t want to miss this eerie and magical event hosted by Green-Wood cemetery and Atlas Obscura next month.

RECOMMENDED: NYC events in October

Explore hidden corners of the beautiful grounds after-hours, and take a moonlit stroll as you discover dance and music performances, acrobats, storytelling, art installations and more surprises from dusk until midnight. (Bring your flashlight!)

There will be a cash bar, too, which is serving signature cocktails for the event. Just think: you could dance and drink with the dead! (What, too morbid? It worked for Lydia in Beetlejuice.)

The event is called “Into the Veil” and takes place at Green-Wood cemetery on Saturday, October 15 from 8pm to midnight. Tickets cost a pretty penny ($75, member $70, VIP $150), but we imagine it’s worth it since this unique spectacle doesn’t happen very often. It also takes place during the spookiest time of the year, so how can you resist the ghoulish Instagram opportunities and a chance to rock your witch outfit before Halloween in NYC? Answer: You can't.
