Bodies in all their barenaked glory will take to the streets tomorrow for the World Naked Bike Ride, so get ready to either feast or shield your eyes. Hundreds of bikers will make their way through the city with very little to absolutely no clothing on, flaunting it while they got it and celebrating bodies and biking.

Want to be part of the in the buff jaunt? Head to Grand Ferry Park at 4pm for body-painting and socializing with your fellow nudist brethren, with the ride departing at 5pm sharp. Last year a couple of people were arrested for causing "traffic and distraction" after "dancing and cheering in a lewd manner," so maybe keep your nekkid cheerleading to a minimum. Or don't! It's perfectly legal for women to go topless in New York City (#FreetheNipple!), but the nether-regions are another matter.

Have questions? Their website has some great answers:

Why are you riding naked? "To celebrate cycling and the human body. The ride demonstrates the vulnerability of cyclists on the road and is a protest against oil dependency." (Who knew?)

Is riding a bike naked uncomfortable? "Suprisingly, for both women and men, riding naked isn't especially less comfortable than riding clothed. When riding with clothes on you're often rubbing against the seams, so in some ways naked riding is comfier! Ride routes will often be chosen with less experienced cyclists in mind, so will avoid hills and be more leisurely in pace, increasing comfort."

Do I have to ride a bike? "No! Any sort of skates (skateboards, inline skates, rollerskates, rollerblades etc) are welcome too."

What if I'm not conventionally attractive? "Great! Please come to the ride! We'll all be there to ride with you in celebration of your body's strength and individuality. People of all ages, sizes, builds and appearances ride on World Naked Bike Ride. At the ride, you'll be treated with dignity and respect no matter what your body looks like."
