TGIF, New York! We are so ready for the weekend! But not before the subway has its way with your good mood. A bunch of commuters were delighted to find long delays this morning after E and M trains had to be rerouted because two trains were apparently facing off on the same track at Court Sq. Then they tweeted about it to give the MTA a piece of their mind. Here's some of our faves, and we hope your summer Friday hours are beginning shortly:
Today's commute=Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. Train's e-break just kicked in. And we're stuck indefinitely.

And, because of an E train delay of an HOUR, I almost missed my flight this morning. @MTA FAIL! @NYCTSubway

Oh hey the E train was also delayed last night because a kitten was rescued from the tracks, so that's nice for the kitten.

There were also delays on the 1 and 7 trains in the AM:
Avoid downtown 1 train today. Waited 1/2 hr, only 2 trains--1 didn't stop, other too full to fit. No countdown clocks. #1train @westsiderag

And an extra one just 'cause I feel this so hard:
First subway car was full of screaming 5-yr-olds on a field trip. Second is all loud, back-slapping Wall St. bros. Afraid to try car three.
