Muppets!

OK, let's back up a bit. Macy's just announced the lineup for this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, and it's pretty stellar: we'll see Tony Bennett, Sarah McLaughlin, De La Soul, and... the Muppets! Not to pick hairs, but we'll technically only get the Muppets from Sesame Street, so even though Ms. Piggy will likely be out to lunch with the Real Housewives of NYC on Thanksgiving Day, at least Cookie Monster, Big Bird and company will hit the floats. That's still plenty of Muppets!

Also set to dazzle at the parade are Aloe Blacc and Kelsea Ballerini, Hamilton's Christopher Jackson, and Olympic Gold medalists Laurie Hernandez, Claressa Shields, and Michelle Carter. You can expect performances from Regina Spektor, Chloe x Halle, Brett Eldredge, Fitz & the Tantrums, Maddie & Tae, Daya and Jacob Whitesides.

Among the rest of the jumbo-sized balloons, look out for the brand-new, 40 foot-tall Bouncing Dog, which bears a resemblance to Best in Show's Winky

As for the performances, can we hope for a surprise appearance from Lady Gaga? She could reunite with her frequent collaborator Tony Bennett—and it's not like she's a stranger to partying with the Muppets.

The parade airs on Thanksgiving Day at 9am. Until the big day, we can at least entertain ourselves with cover boy Billy Eichner's take on the iconic event.
