Sure, there are plenty of sushi burrito options in New York, but now the real O.G. sushi burrito is coming to town: San Francisco's Sushirrito is opening in NYC's Flatiron District this Saturday, October 8th. The Gotham outpost (12 West 23rd Street) is the restaurant's first location outside of its native Bay Area, with another New York location to be announced later this year.
The menu will feature eight burritos comprising both fish—a Geisha's Kiss with yellowfin tuna, tamago and piquilla peppers; a Sumo Crunch with shrimp tempura, shaved cabbage and ginger guacamole—and non-fish options, like sake-asada beef, chicken katsu and pork belly.
