New York City will be getting another big outdoor music festival in 2016. The inaugural Meadows Music and Arts Festival comes to the Citi Field complex on October 1st and 2nd, with headliners Kanye West, The Weeknd, Chance the Rapper and Kygo. The lineup of 40-plus artists will be spread across four stages, accompanied by "a world's fair of cuisine from around the globe" and a focus on craft cocktails. Founders Entertainment—the folks behind Governors Ball—are the primary drivers behind the fest. And past Governors Ball ticket holders will get an early stab at tickets via a pre-sale that starts Wednesday, June 22nd at 11am. General ticket sales start Thursday, June 23rd at 11am at TheMeadowsnyc.com.

GovBall's third day, which was canceled for weather, was to be Kanye West's first North American post-Life of Pablo concert performance. He'll now be starting the Saint Pablo tour at the end of August, visiting NYC September 5th and 6th to play Madison Square Garden. The Meadows will be his sole North American festival date in 2016.
