The gang’s all here. In a very important piece of journalism yesterday, we reported on the 22 raccoons recently spotted in Central Park. The gaze of raccoons has been seen near 59th Street on the southeastern edge of the park, and you loved it as much as you love shark sightings, quickly turning it into one of the city’s hottest tourist attractions. (But seriously, don’t feed the raccoons, you guys.)
Though the squad doesn’t appear to have rabies, it did go viral on Twitter, with plenty of jokes about Parks and Recreation, trash pandas and more. Here are our favorite tweets about the Central Park bandits:
