It’s really happening, you guys. We have exclusive photos of the brand-new Second Avenue subway station at 96th Street, sent to us from an anonymous union construction worker. And it actually looks like it’s coming along nicely!
As you can see, the marble work is already finished, and the source estimates it’ll be done in a month. We’ve already seen trains running in the 63rd Street station, despite hiccups like, er, the tunnels being the wrong size.
