The Brooklyn Botanical Garden is now completely free on weekdays

Here's one awesome way to take advantage of the unseasonably warm weather that we've been having in New York lately: go to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden!

Starting today, admission to the cultural attraction is completely free on weekdays from 10am until 4:30pm. The free "winter weekdays" will continue through February 28,2017.

Worried that there may not be enough to do at the garden during the winter? Think again! The institution has a full slate of winter programming including Conservatory Seasonal Highlights Tours, a concert with classical singer Christopher Dylan Herbert on Winter Solstice and an ongoing exhibit on smart gardens.

There's also probably no better way to beat the winter chill than a leisurely afternoon in the conservatory.
