We’re so close! This week, there was the official groundbreaking ceremony for Pier 3, the newest portion of Brooklyn Bridge Park. It’s one of the last sections of the park still under construction, meaning that the massive space is now 90 percent finished. The pier, scheduled to open in 2018, will have a giant lawn along with an events space and a labyrinth. (It’ll be more like an idyllic park than a horrifying corn maze, though.)
Brooklyn Bridge Park is already the new home of some of the city’s most Instagrammable outdoor art, along with the coolest rock climbing wall in the city. Let the countdown begin to the newest portion!
The polls are open! Vote for your favorite spots that deserve a Love New York Award.
Been there, done that? Think again, my friend.
