In New York pizza circles, Domenico DeMarco is pretty much a god. The pizzaiolo has been the heart of Di Fara Pizza in Midwood, Brooklyn—widely considered the best pizzeria in New York, if not the country—for more than half a century.
Now his legendary pies will travel up the borough to Williamsburg's upcoming North 3rd Street Market, a 15,000-square-foot food hall set to debut at North 3rd between Berry Street and Wythe Avenue this September. The food-hall stall will sport the same acclaimed menu of thin-crust Neapolitan and square pies as at the original storefront.
Along with the Di Fara outpost, the North 3rd Street Market will feature vendors like La Newyorkina, Champion Coffee and a seafood operation from Ed McFarland of Ed's Lobster Bar.
