When Madonna caught Hamilton at the Public Theater last year, cast members called her out on social media for texting during the performance (they could see Madge’s face bathed in the glow of her phone). Well, Stevie Nicks has way more class than Madonna (granted: not a high bar). Last night, the ageless Fleetwood Mac veteran and solo rock goddess attended Andrew Lloyd Webber’s School of Rock, a show which references her and her smokin’ 1981 single “Edge of Seventeen.” If you’ve seen the movie or the musical, you know that the plot partly hinges on an uptight headmistress’s fangirl Stevie love. Nicks didn’t just see the show; she got up on stage with the young musician-actors afterward to jam. Below is video of her rocking out on “Rhiannon.” How’s that for an encore?
