Shake Shack's Madison Square Park outpost could reopen as early as May 8

Good news Shack fans—Danny Meyer's wildly popular OG concession stand is looking to make its grand return to Madison Square Park on May 8 after shuttering last October for a full-blown renovation. And in true Shake Shack fashion, the crew is gearing up for an all-day reopening blowout from noon to 8pm, but first the restaurant needs an official okay from Manhattan's Community Board 5, who will give their yay or nay on April 2nd during the Parks and Public Spaces meeting. Fingers crossed, burger lovers.
