On that kind of night that could only happen in NYC,
Bill Murray bartended in Brooklyn this weekend. On Friday and Saturday, he materialized behind the bar at 21 Greenpoint, a new venue from owners Homer Murray, Bill's son, and Syd Silver.
It was a private event, but that didn’t stop a crowd of Brooklynites from assembling on the street and collectively losing their cool over the original
Ghostbusters star. No, he wasn’t the
best mixologist, mostly sticking to tequila and whiskey shots instead of
craft cocktails. But he did pose for selfies. Here’s how the night went down:
Bill Murray has arrived!
He’s behind the bar.
He's introducing himself.
He's taking orders.
He's pouring shots.
He's taking shots.
He's taking more shots.
He's posing for photos.
He's not posing for photos.
He's pouring cocktails.
Yeah, it was a little crowded.
And then the Ecto-1 showed up.
