Live from Saks, it's SNL!

Saturday Night Live is celebrating its 40th season with some interesting partnerships this year. This past summer, SNL partnered with Ben & Jerry's for some sketch-inspired pints. And now the show has teamed up with Saks Fifth Avenue for a collab featuring designer clothes inspired by the most popular not-ready-for-prime-time characters.

Now, we never considered Gilly an especially stylish character, but when the Kristen Wiig character's outfit is reinterpreted by Suno, it becomes a cute, mixed print silk dress, complete with a schoolgirl collar ($695). Other designer looks in the capsule collection include Rag & Bone's take on the Mary Katherine Gallagher schoolgirl look and leather track shorts by Alexander Wang that were inspired by Chris Kattan's Mango character. One look goes way back into the SNL vault, thanks to the Alice + Olivia design inspired by Gilda Radnor's classic Lisa Loopner character.

When you shop the looks October 16–19, Saks will donate some proceeds of the sales to women's cancer charities. (The store is also selling a limited edition Rag & Bone-designed 'Key to the Cure' unisex T-shirt for $35, if you're more of a budget shopper.)

We should note that, technically, these aren't Halloween costumes, but they could easily work if you want to go the high-end route at your costume party this year. But if you do opt for the Gilly look, you should know that her signature frizzy hair and pink bow aren't included with the dress.
