Everyone knows the true sign that summer's returned to New York is not the weather, hot garbage smell or couples in matching shorts, but when popular seasonal bars start re-opening for the season! And it appears that moment is finally here. Joining The Frying Pan this week in opening its doors for the warmer months, will be one of our favorite rooftop bars in the city: Gallow Green.

Even though Gallow Green wasn't entirely closed for the winter (it transformed into a cozy winter lodge) this is the first weekend that the rooftop will be back to its verdant self. To mark the re-opening of the garden, The McKittrick Hotel is throwing a 4/20-timed "Herb Festival" with complimentary drinks, live music and passed canapés.

Buy tickets here, which you can combine with a performance of Sleep No More or dinner at The Heath restaurant, and celebrate 4/20 in style.
