The 70th annual Tony Awards took place last night, and we had Josh Groban reporting live from the Beacon Theatre on our Snapchat. The singer, who’s making his Broadway debut in The Great Comet this fall, shared his observations, photos and impromptu sing-alongs. Just in case you didn’t catch it in Snapchat’s 24-hour window, we have the recap for you:

The Tony Awards were dedicated to to those affected by the devastating mass shooting in Orlando. As Josh says, it’s an opportunity to celebrate diversity and love.

Josh arrives fashionably early for the awards. But what he said: excited!

OMG, the red carpet is crazy!

Hi, Jonathan Groff! What would a Snapchat takeover be without celebrity selfies?

Hamilton ruled the Hamiltonys, er, Tonys. Here are its winners Renée Elise Goldsberry, Lin-Manuel Miranda and Daveed Diggs. (And, of course, Hamilton won Best Musical.)

Sorry for bringing this up again, Josh, but we loved your performance in Fiddler on the Roof as a 17-year-old.

Oh look, it's host James Corden!

A bonus Tonys performance exclusively from Josh: Jeff Daniels singing “The Hills are Alive.” We would very much like to see this movie remake.
