Slice Out Hunger is a culinary charitable celebration that is a win-win for everyone: the cheap-o $1 slices of pizza for attendees (sold in ticket-form) goes straight towards charities Sylvia Center and City Harvest. And although the current list of vendors isn't up yet, past participants have included some of the best New York pizzas, including Di Fara Pizza, Emily, Patsy's and Prince St Pizza, among dozens of others.

The pizza-palooza is taking place October 4 at St. Anthony Church in Soho. You can purchase tickets in cash at the event, or purchase a VIPizza Passport for $100, which lets you and a friend cut the line and comes with 10 pizza tickets.
