2017 is shaping up to be the year of dessert. Specifically, dessert that our inner children would go bananas over. Earlier in the year, , the cookie-dough-centric shop opened, then there was Wowfulls, serving cotton-candy-Oreo scoops in warm Hong-Kong-style waffles. (And don't even get us started on the unicorn, cotton candy and rainbow upsurge). And now, a shop mainly devoted to donut-ice-cream sandwiches is opening this Saturday.

On July 29, founders Jackie Luu and Alan Yaung are baking original donuts and churning ice cream in-house to serve their "cruff" sandwiches as a two-for-one deal. At Stuffed, the glazed donuts will be warmed pre-sandwich, and will be dipped in sweet toppings upon serving at the 139 First Ave location. Based on these Instagram photos, we're excited.
