One of New York’s best interview series is gearing up for its Fall 2015 season. LIVE from the NYPL brings fascinating people from the worlds of television, books, music and more to the New York Public Library’s flagship building on 42nd St. for interviews, readings and lectures. Past subjects have ranged from Matthew Weiner reflecting on his critically acclaimed drama Mad Men to RuPaul discussing the art of drag.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, the series will bring Patti Smith, Gloria Steinem, Elvis Costello, Ta-Nehisi Coats and more to the stage of the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building this fall, many with interviews by the NYPL’s Paul Holdengräber.
Also, Shaq will be discussing his new children’s book, Little Shaq.
