After a person was struck by an LIRR train tonight, service into and out of Penn Station and Atlantic Terminal during the evening commute was suspended.
LIRR service is suspended in both directions into and out of Penn & Atl Term due to an unauthorized person on the tracks struck by a train.

The person was hit by a train east of the Queens Village statement in Jamaica around 6pm. The Port Washington line was not affected. You can check for updates here.
