Update: Psst… so, thanks to Oh My Rockness, we're pretty sure that the "location TBA" is Terminal 5. And that there will actually be two shows, going down Saturday and Sunday, May 16 and 17.

Signed up for Jay Z's Tidal streaming-music service yet? Yeah, neither have we. Though we might reconsider today, since Hov has just announced a free NYC show—slated for Wednesday, May 13, at a location TBA; given that Jay has sold his stake in Barclays Center, it probably won't be there!—open only to Tidal users who create a playlist on the service and share it on Twitter using the hashtag #TIDALXJAYZ. It's a pretty shameless promo move, but on other hand, Jay has come up with a cool hook for the show: No hits, only B-sides and deep cuts. What do you think, New York hip-hop fans? Is a Jay Z B-sides gig worth sacrificing a little social-media dignity? We'll leave it to you to decide.
