In case you’ve been stuck inside of a walk-in freezer for two days (in which case, you should probably be using this wifi signal for something else,) it has been extremely hot in New York. That heat is not going anywhere anytime soon thanks to an incredibly cruel meteorological phenomenon called an airmass.
Because of the crazy temps, an Excessive Heat Warning has been issued for the city by the National Weather Service from until 10pm on Sunday. Happy weekend, everybody! You can read more about the free cooling centers located around the city here.
Right now feels like temperatures in the 100's in some areas. Try to stay in air conditioned settings! pic.twitter.com/DnoCIdCxiJ

Today, it currently feels like 105 degrees in Central Park after you factor in humidity. Tomorrow, that number could climb as high as 110 degrees… Starting to think we should've stayed under that dome.
Oppressive heat and humidity will continue through the weekend. Excessive heat warnings have been issued pic.twitter.com/Iaz5dIc54m
