Running through Central Park is great and all, but doing so in as little clothing as possible takes the activity to a whole new level. On Friday, hundreds of near-naked exercise enthusiasts will run a 1.7 mile course in Central Park for the Gildan Underwear Run, a strange annual event that precedes the New York City Triathlon. Stripping down to your skivvies and jogging through Central Park might seem like a pretty bold decision, but it pales in comparison to the choice to take a dip in the Hudson River (which is apparently perfectly safe to swim in).

The run kicks off at 6:30pm and is perfect for anyone who is eager to take of their clothes and get sweaty on a Friday evening but is unable to score a Tinder date.

Registration for the event is closed, but attendees can cheer on the skin-showing participants along the course. The event may attract a small audience of creeps, but that's nothing new for anyone who's completed the annual Cupid's Undie Run on Valentine's Day.
