Hundreds of people eager to see inside the Renaissance Revival building 190 Bowery this weekend were left disappointed, and on the sidewalk.
Real Estate mogul Abby Rosen had previously announced that he would be opening the doors to the long-shuttered structure this Saturday for the art exhibition “First Show/Last Show,” on display until May 29. However, when hundreds of people showed to get a peek inside the historic interior they were turned away and told prior reservations were necessary.
See photos of the madness below. If you’d still like to see inside the Soho landmark email rsvp@vitoschnabel.com with your requested time. The exhibition is open Monday through Fridays from 12-6pm.

95% of people we spoke to were here to see the inside of #190Bowery, not the art. What do you get to see? pic.twitter.com/r9inkcxkGA
