When Pearl River Mart shuttered last March due to an enormous rent hike, New Yorkers weeped. But after owners Ming Yi and Ching Yeh Chen announced that the Chinese emporium is relocating to 395 Broadway, we couldn't wait for the shop to reopen.
We told you last month that Pearl River Mart plans to open a pop-up before the store is permanently relaunched in May 2017. And as of yesterday, the temporary setup is officially open for business! (Just in time for holiday gifting, too.)
If you're unfamiliar, Pearl River Mart carries a hodgepodge of items ranging from every-day trinkets and kitchenware to clothes and fabulous light fixtures. Best of all, the price points are cheap. Here's a sneak peek of what the shop looks like now!
