Here’s the impressive lineup for this summer's Full Moon Festival on Governors Island

Summer music festival season looms ever closer! Heralding the coming concert harvest, Full Moon Festival—which is returning to New York for a 7th year—just announced the initial phase of its lineup. As always, it's an eclectic mix of artists, ranging from groundbreaking DJs (Larry Heard, DJ Harvey) to left-field psych-pop (Connan Mockasin) to spitfire rappers (Vic Mensa).

This year, Full Moon Festival will take place Saturday, July 8 on the Governors Island waterfront with additional nightlife programming ("Full Moon by Night") at an undisclosed industrial Brooklyn location. Check out the announcement video and full lineup below, and head to the official website for tickets.
