If there's one thing we can learn from the wild success of last summer's Museum of Ice Cream and the consistent long lines outside Dominique Ansel's shops years after the debut of the Cronut, it's that New Yorkers love sweets. Still, it was a bit of a surprise when 1,000 tickets for the first-ever Desserts Goals Festival sold out in under five minutes. Luckily, you still have a chance to win tickets before Sunday's big event at Williamsburg's Dobbin Street.
For a chance at winning tickets to the very first dessert festival in NYC, just sign up here by 11:59pm tonight, October 19. Ten lucky winners will get tickets to the sold-out festivities.
So what exactly is happening at the festival, anyway? Well, 20 vendors, almost all worthy of being named the city's best desserts, will be selling their sugary goodness. Drink free, unlimited Intelligentsia coffee while chowing down on ice cream sandwiches from Melt Bakery, bubble tea from Boba Guys, gooey—and safe—cookie dough from Cookie Do and Portuguese egg tarts from Joey Bats. Then take those treats and some complimentary candy up to the rooftop lounge and dessert-themed Instagram garden for the best food-porn shots.
The polls are open! Vote for your favorite spots that deserve a Love New York Award.
