Sound too good to be true?

Well, for most people it probably is. But two extremely lucky applicants could soon be living in a spacious 3,400-square-foot luxury apartment in the West Village for just $1 a month. (Finally, some reasonable rent prices in this city.)

Rupert Hunt, Founder and CEO of SpareRoom.com, a site that helps people find roommates, is currently looking for two lucky New Yorkers to share his spacious digs for the price of one bad slice of pizza a month. Each bedroom has a walk-in closet, office area and private bathroom as well as access to a shared dining room and kitchen as well as 1,500-square-foot rooftop terrace.

“Thanks to the success of SpareRoom I’m in the fortunate position of not needing to share for financial reasons,” says Hunt. “I share because I love it and I believe that living with the right people beats living on your own any day.”

We agree. Anything you say, Rupert.
