Canada has given the world a lot: Celine Dion's high notes, Ryan Reynolds's sculpted chest, the hot mess that is Justin Bieber's existence. But the Canadian imports we Yanks are most thankful for is of the food sort—Mile End is making it easy to show our gratitude by throwing an entire week devoted to our Canuck friends up north.
Beginning Friday, June 24th and culminating on Canada Day, July 1st, the first annual Blame Canada week will feature national specialties like pogos (corn dogs), foie-gras poutine, butterscotch pudding and "Bieber Tales" (chocolate-covered fried dough), as well as Canada-bred beers, all available at both Manhattan and Brooklyn locations of the neo-deli.
