All you wizards and wizard-loving-muggles rejoice! The critically acclaimed, massively popular Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Parts One and Two is making its way across the pond to Broadway next year.
The Cursed Child takes places two decades after The Boy Who Lived left Hogwarts and centers around Potter's children, particularly his youngest son Albus. In addition to sold-out houses, the West End production at London's Playhouse Theaters swept the Olivier Awards, picking up wins for best new play and the actors who played Harry, Hermione Granger and Scorpius (Draco Malfoy’s son).
The Broadway production will open at the Lyric Theater on April 22, 2018. Like the British version, viewers can watch parts one and two on back-to-back nights, or cram the full experience in a single, magical day.
