Combat Old Man Winter by sippin' away the cold! If you're looking for toasty and cozy things to do in winter in New York, Spiked Mug Fest and Holiday Bazaar sounds pretty f*cking wonderful.

Basically, this is an unlimited warm cocktails, winter beer and mulled wine tasting event with a food and shopping market attached. Think of it as a huge holiday festival in Queens, where you can get tipsy on beverages like honey-bourbon hot toddys, hot-buttered rum, winter stouts and, oh my god, we're salivating. There will also be a DJ and photo booth, so you can practice taking some awkward pictures for your upcoming Christmas card.

The Holiday Bazaar, which features some of the best grub from eateries in Queens as well as handmade merchandise from local makers, is free to attend. But the Spiked Mug portion will run you $39 for a three-hour tasting window (#WorthIt.)

The festive fun goes down the weekend of December 17 and 18 from 11:30am to 8:30pm at The Factory in LIC (30-30 47th Ave). Cop your tickets here. And since it's the season for giving, if you purchase your tickets using the code TIMEOUT between now and next Wednesday, December 14, you'll receive 20% off!
