There's about a week left before iconic downtown venue Webster Hall closes for renovations (and changes management/ownership). While you'll be able to say goodbye at Saturday's Gotham party, Sunday's Good Charlotte show or Tuesday's Michelle Branch gig, the official final concert at the venue, in its current iteration, will go down Thursday, August 10th. The headliner is TBA, but it's being billed as "Webster Hall: The End of an Era - Presented by The Meadows." Presumably, that means someone from the Meadows Festival will be sending off the venue. The biggest and most obvious one of those is Jay Z, though there are plenty of other possibilities. Tickets go on sale Thursday, August 3 at 10am.
Last night, the venue hosted a surprise show from another festival headliner, Nine Inch Nail, one day after the band played Panorama Fest.
