Forget the Emmys—the best awards of the week were given out for the top food trucks in NYC on Saturday on Governors Island. Winning the coveted cup at the 12^th annual Vendy Awards was Tacos El Rancho in Sunset Park (at 44th Street and 5th Avenue). The family-run truck of Oaxacan grub impressively beat a collection of street food opponents including Traditional Chinese Cuisine and Gladis' Empanadas.
