SOM’s new five million-square-foot tower at Hudson Yards officially opened up applications for 169 affordable units in the building yesterday. You have until November 7 to apply for one of the spots, and must earn 60 percent of the area median income. Prices for the apartments range from $913 per month for a studio to $1,359 per month for a three-bedroom.
Residents of the building will have access to amenities including a bike repair station, kids playroom, lounge, library, game room, laundry room, fitness center, arcade, sky lounge and, most importantly, a pet spa.
Residents of Manhattan Community Board 4 will be given preference for half of the available units. Check out renderings of the new building below and find out more information about applying, including specific income requirements, here.
