Have you ever turned to your friends and said, "Guys, New York is so boring, there's nothing to do here except bake in the concrete and steel" because you hate all the endless free stuff and fun dance parties going on in NYC during the summer? Why don't you just rent a yacht?

Boatbound, the Airbnb of boats, will let you rent or charter speed boats, sailboats and yachts for the day to set sail to the beach or island of your choice. Whether you and your friends can afford to chip in $50 a piece, or you've got a high roller in the group who won't blink at dropping a few grand, there's a vessel just waiting for you. Here's five to dream about right now:

A 97-foot luxury yacht, starting at $7,000 a day

Boatbound

This gorgeous boat, named Justine, will whisk you away on harbor cruises around city, or the Hamptons, Atlantic City, Block Island and more. She's staffed with a full crew, has underwater LED lighting, media center, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, a frozen drink maker. Want to take her out for a three hour spin? That'll be $3500 before extra fees, please.

A National Landmark historic sailboat, starting at $6,000 a day

Boatbound

Step aboard the Ventura, mateys, for a seaward journey. She has a Gatsby-era style with "original solid teak decks, gleaming brass winches, lamps, and varnished mahogany cabins evoke an elegance from the last century." Rent her by the hour for the bargain price of $750!

A Jersey Shore river tour on a Chaparral bow-rider, starting at $1,000 a day

Boatbound

You'll be on the highway to the danger zone in this speedboat equipped with everything you need for a day on the shore, including a bathroom, coolers and even a wakeboard. Head to Sandy Hook National Park, Sea Bright Barrier Island or the Navesink River while you work on your tan—no driving required, because your captain comes with you!

A cruise to Fire Island on a yacht, starting at $700 a day

Boatbound

Step aboard the Kismet to take a chartered harbor cruise! The 42' yacht is ready to take you out anywhere around Fire Island and will cater a party with drinks, heroes and all the floaty tubes you could want in this life. Float on alright. Oh, don't forget the $395 due at booking for extra costs.

Say hi to Lady Liberty in a 25' sailing boat, starting at $420 a day

Boatbound

The Dufour 1800 has room for six on the deck, and can sleep four comfortably, in case you'd like to rock to sleep at night. She is "beamy with a heavy keel." If you know what that means, she might be right for you! Don't know how to sail? Rent a captain, too!
