A cozy weekend away in a mountain-side cabin is a lot closer than you think. For the season, PHD Terrace at the Dream Midtown will be festively transformed into the Peak, a wintry lodge complete with frosted topiaries, fur throw blankets and log-wood candles.
The food and drink menus follow festive suit: At the bar, find warm Swedish glogg (port wine, sherry, bourbon, Everclear, raisins) and a martini splashed with crème de cacao and garnished with a peppermint stick, which you can complement with plates including baked brie with figs and candied walnuts, and a double-chocolate skillet cookie with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce.
