Elsewhere, a new music venue with a rooftop bar, is opening in Bushwick

Look for a new independent music venue, Elsewhere, to open in Bushwick this fall. Owned by Popgun Presents partners Dhruv Chopra, Rami Haykal and Jake Rosenthal—the folks behind defunct Williamsburg space Glasslands—the 24,000-square-foot converted warehouse will house a performance hall, a smaller performance space, a rooftop with a full bar, and an art gallery. 

Located at 599 Johnson Avenue, Brooklyn—pictured below, before its $3 million buildout—Elsewhere aims to build on the pan-genre bookings of Glasslands (which closed in 2014 with a final New Years Eve show). Stay tuned for details on its official opening.
