There have been plenty of tributes to the late, great Purple One all across New York City, but this might be the most delicious one yet—Breads Bakery is launching a purple-hued baked-blueberry cheesecake this week in honor of Prince, who passed away last month. The tributing treat ($8 slice, $37 ten-inch cake) is part of the bakery's Cheesecake May, which sees the debut of a new cheesecake each week throughout the month.

Starting Monday, May 16, Breads will offer a cheesecake version of their famed babka ($14.95)—yes, that means cheesecake babka, people. And the week after that, the Union Square shop will offer not only a classic cheesecake ($8 slice, $37 ten-inch cake) starting May 23, but will also be serving all of the month's cheesecake flavors, including the inaugural strawberry cheesecake, available as a $34 full cake or a $8 single serving layered inside a mason jar. Sweet!
