Following Fuku's fried-chicken sandwich takeover of the East Village this summer, Momofuku boss David Chang takes that frizzled fowl north to the upper floor at his swank, bi-level Midtown outpost Má Pêche. Announced only by a cryptic Instagram post this morning (per usual), Fuku+ opened at noon serving the famed sandwiches, as well as salads (ranch, oriental), Sichuan pork flatbreads and the confetti cookie™ from Milk Bar

Groups can make reservations a week in advance for pre-set menus like the $400 large-format Fuku XXL, which serves 4-8 people with several items from the individual walk-in menu, plus slow-roasted pork butt, fried short ribs, Sichuan pork bread balls, daikon slaw and biscuits. With a bigger kitchen and more space to tinker with that perfectly battered bird, we're on the edge of our seats to see what Chang has in the pipeline. Next stop, Chelsea?
