It's nearing ice cream season, that wonderfully melty time of year filled with cones, cups and pops. Magnum, ye of chocolate-dipped ice cream bars, is getting into the spirit early with its first storefront, a pop-up running daily noon to 9pm through Sunday, August 7 at 134 Prince Street. The New York shop, the only one stateside, joins fellow Magnum pop-ups in Berlin, London, Madrid and Paris.

The pop-up will center on a DIY dipping bar, where guests can customize their own ice cream bars. Choose a base flavor (vanilla bean, chocolate) and chocolate coating (dark, milk or white, sourced from Belgium's Barry Callebaut) before embellishing the bar to your heart's desire—the selection of 20 toppings includes rose petals, coconut flakes, chopped hazelnuts and espresso sugar.
