After causing a stir with its bankruptcy-induced closing announcement this past July, cupcake heavyweight Crumbs Bake Shop gets back in the ring with a grand reopening celebration on Tuesday, Oct 14th at its revamped 1385 Broadway location. Along with behemoth cupcakes, including Cronut knockoff the Crumbnut, CNBC star and Crumbs' new partner Marcus Lemonis (The Profit) will introduce the shop's latest treat: the "baissant," a bagel-croissant mash-up to join the great pantheon of pastry hybrids.

The Garment District outpost will also feature a new cooler for frozen desserts, a Crumbs chocolate bar, gluten-free sweets and new cupcake flavors such as Sweet Pete’s Salted Caramel Chocolate and a Key West Key Lime Pie. And look out for more baked-goods blowouts at the chain's other 25 locations—including Times Square, Broad Street, Grand Central and Union Square—across the next 30 days.
