Check out these photos of the new DUMBO Reflector sign in Brooklyn Bridge Park

DUMBO has just brought out a big shiny new sign in the John Street section of Brooklyn Bridge Park to welcome visitors to the neighborhood nestled between the Brooklyn and Manhattan Bridges. Commissioned by the DUMBO Improvement District in honor of its tenth anniversary, the interactive outdoor installation measures 9 by 12 feet and spells out DUMBO in letters covered with a high-tech mirrored surface that can display changing light patterns, and digital animations programmed through social media hashtags. Tags include one that takes selfies and another that lets you use the sign to ask questions that are randomly answered like a Magic 8-ball. The sign also keeps track of time as well as the traffic on both Bridges. You can see photos of Brooklyn’s latest attraction below.
