Sure, that unseasonably warm weather might be over, but luckily, New York is full of outrageous parties to counter any dreary weather. Whether you're looking for amazing beer, a party for Instagram-loving foodies or some futuristic dance parties, the next eight days have plenty of options for one-of-a-kind fun. Here's what you don't want to miss:

Blocktoberfest
In this Brooklyn meets Munich event, the alley-like feel of The Well's massive quarter-of-an-acre backyard becomes the site of New York City Brewers Guild's third annual "block party." On hand are special limited-edition beers from 26 different breweries, including local heroes Finback Brewery, Threes Brewing, Gun Hill, Flagship, Six Point and more. Suds-guzzlers should appreciate the admission price: $30 for five 12-ounce beers or $18 for five 4-ounce beers. The Well, 272 Meserole St, Brooklyn (eventbrite.com/e/blocktoberfest), Sat 22 12:30pm-5:30pm

Food Porn Party
The Food Film Festival allows you to let your food-loving freak-flag fly on Saturday night with this party. Chow down on farm fresh oysters, sweet and savory raspberry dishes, and sugary treats like doughnuts and baked goods, while watching documentaries from the festival's film selection. "The Worlds First Food Porn Star" Larry Caldwell (actor Charles Grantham) will be in attendance, and afterward, stick around for gourmet gossiping, food-themed burlesque and movie-inspired cocktails from Butter & Scotch. AMC Empire 25, 234 West 42nd Street (thefoodfilmfestival.com), Sat 22 8pm-11:30pm; $95

Gifoween
Wear your best Halloween costume and prepare for some super-fun animated loops at this gif party and competition. Head to Brooklyn Bazaar to experience the debut of Giphy's Gif Dance Party, an immersive room that turns the gif photo booth into an experience as gifs of you and your friends dance to a loop of your favorite animated characters from television and video games projected on the walls. Brooklyn Night Bazaar, 150 Greenpoint Ave (giphy.com/posts/gifoween), Wed 26 at 8pm.

Halloween 3000
Feel-good house music master Moon Boots headlines at this futuristic space-themed party at House of Yes. Come in your chicest intergalactic outfit and party like it's 2999 among dancing astronauts, cyborgs, cyborgettes, space spiders and skeleton ghost aliens. Appreciate the aerial acrobatics and explore designated "Abduction stations and secret science chambers" while chowing down on some out-of-this-world food. Choose your costume wisely—the winner of the competition gets a bottle of champaign plus a future private hot tub party that guarantees admission for nine people to the House of Yes's rooftop tub, with two more bottle of champaign included. House of Yes, 2 Wyckoff Ave, Brooklyn (houseofyes.org) Sat 29 10pm-4am; $30-$75

The polls are open! Vote for your favorite spots that deserve a Love New York Award.
