Are you ready to shop for groceries underground? A new market and beer hall will open underneath Delancey Street in the middle of 2018, so GET ready.

The market will span 150,000 square  feet, or three blocks between Essex and Clinton Streets, as part of Essex Crossing, a nine-site, $1.1 billion development (including 1,000 apartments and a new Trader Joe’s) currently under way. The new Essex Street Market subterranean location will also feature a beer hall (if grocery shopping is so stressful you need to knock one back), and talks with local vendors to join in are still in progress, according to DNAinfo.

Check out pics of the new market below, and maybe consider just becoming a mole person full time.
